- Our 4, 6 and 8-Hole Coops meet the great demand for a nest of smaller size to accommodate areas of small pens, as well as smaller applications. The sturdy construction and hole size is the same as our 10-hole nests, but, of course, the space needed to house the unit is greatly reduced. Please take notice of the lids, front and back partitions, and perches. These are all constructed of heavy duty plastic. This helps prevent the harboring of lice and mites, which can be a problem with units consisting of wood. The plastic construction also allows for sanitation of the nests in between seasons. The side panels and perch brackets are constructed of heavy duty galvanized metal which insures a sturdy structure.
- The original style OS-10-hole Coop is being introduced into our line as an economy-priced nest lowering the cost to the final user. This nest has the same basic principle as the K-10-P. Except that this nest has metal bottoms in the laying compartments instead of the new plastic nest bottoms in the K-10-P. It also has the old standard wooden perches not the new plastic perches. The other features on the original model are the same.
- K10P metal nests are made from heavy galvanized steel. It has removable bottoms for easy cleaning, high front and back panels to help eliminate scratching of litter out of nests and now comes with plastic bottoms and perches to allow for easier cleaning and sanitizing.
